From skyrocketing taxes and crippling deficits to failing schools and radical policies, Tim Walz has turned the North Star State into a national cautionary tale. Once a leader in education and economic opportunity, Minnesota is now burdened by broken promises, runaway spending, and an agenda that puts politics over people. Our families, our businesses, and our future can’t afford the weight of Walz’s failures any longer.
As governor, Tim Walz has made Minnesota unrecognizable to those who love this state most.
The baggage Tim Walz is carrying as governor is, for Minnesota families and taxpayers, too much to bear.
Walz took our once proud and prosperous state with a competitive business climate and world-class education system, and denigrated the Land of 10,000 Lakes into a high-taxed, over-regulated state that is shuttering businesses and forcing them to flee or close.
He is handcuffing and crippling our schools with unfunded programs and mandates, while our students fall further and further behind.
Our schools used to rank among the top states in the United States. Now, thanks to Walz, our children can’t read or perform math at grade level and are ranked behind Arkansas and Mississippi.
In just the past two years, Walz turned a historic $18 billion surplus into a $6 billion deficit. He raised taxes by $10 billion. He inflated the state budget by a jaw-dropping 43%.
He gave illegal immigrants free health insurance and free college tuition.
Rather than put our families and small businesses first, self-proclaimed “knucklehead” Walz is embracing radical and extreme policies we don’t want and we can’t afford.
And worse, he can’t stop lying!
With every broken promise and falsehood, Walz’s baggage grows heavier, and Minnesota can’t afford to carry it any longer.
Let’s fire Tim Walz.
